Overall Appearance:
Draco Malfoy has always prided himself in maintaining a perfect appearance, almost to the verge of being compulsive about his looks. It was its worst in his early school years, when he wasn't so independent of his parents and still rushed to please his father, combing down his hair if a single part went out of place, straightening his tie if ever it felt uncentered. As he has matured, he has moved from the slicked-back look which was always meant to mimic his father's to a shaggy, piecey look that falls over his forehead and parts wherever it will.
His skin is pale, and his jawline sloping in a stately manner. His eyes are gray, a piercing gray which seems cold and guarded no matter what sort of mood he's in--these days more than ever, they view everyone around him with a guarded gaze, like someone expecting to be laughed at, someone who knows he's hated by everyone.

Overall Personality:
A lot has changed in Draco Malfoy's life; and with the loss of his leader and his purpose, his family's good name and just about everything else his life was built on, he has lost a lot within himself, as well. His pride has been scrapped, salt poured on his wounds. With everyone hating him and his family he took a job as a Curse Breaker for Gringotts in Eygpt.
He's not a fool; he knows that everyone around him hates him. He has become well-acquainted with the emotions of shame, humiliation, and regret--though the latter is one that he hasn't let show yet, not to anyone. He still clings to his last shred of pride, and admitting he was so very, very wrong is still very hard for him. So he goes on letting everyone believe he feels no regret for anything he's been a part of, because to admit he was wrong is to lose the last bit of dignity he has.
He goes about acting much like he did before, to hide how much everything that has happened has effected him--but he is quieter now, and can't seem to find the harsh words to say anymore. And when he does say them, he doesn't feel them nearly as much as he used to. Suddenly, it doesn't seem to matter so much whether someone isn't Pureblood--look where all of this Pureblood madness got him, anyway.

THE HISTORY;;
Since his birth, Draco has been taught a strict regime of what is right and what is wrong--a very different right and wrong than the rest of the wizarding world saw. He was taught that to be Pureblood was everything, and that because he was Pureblood, he was better than most other people. He was taught that wealth was also of huge importance, and the lack of it made some lesser beings than others. He was taught that the dark arts were a sacred practice, which he should aspire to someday learn, and though the entirety of his parent's involvement with true evil was kept from him until his mid-teenage years, he caught glimpses of it here and there, as it was around him all the time in his home, to a lesser degree. And by the time he went out into the wizarding world, away from his parents, he believed what he had been taught so fiercely that as he saw it, the world was stupid and naive.
At eleven years old, he went off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was sorted into Slytherin, as expected, and the combination of his family name and his assertive personality quickly gained him the top spot in that house. He used this power to make miserable the lives of anyone he was fit to; finding little resistance in anyone except for Harry Potter, a boy who was heralded as the savior of wizardkind but whom Draco saw little worth in. The two became fierce rivals in everything, and Draco never passed up an opportunity to say something rude about Potter or his dear little friends.
In his second year at Hogwarts, Draco joined the Slytherin Quidditch team and realized how much passion he had for the sport. Of course, this passion often equaled a fierce competitive nature on the Quidditch mound, and he was aggressive and didn't worry about who of the other team was hurt in his path to victory. Through his years at Hogwarts, Draco does everything he can to make Potter's life miserable, but it wasn't until Draco's father was arrested at the end of his fifth year that Draco made a death threat on Harry's life.
Soon after that, everything went downhill as Draco was sucked further into the darkness he had grown up around. He was made a Death Eater, possibly out of punishment for his father's failure, and was given the task by the Dark Lord himself to find a way to get other Death Eaters into the school. The pressure of the task, combined with the new horrors he faced when away from Hogwarts, at home, made him withdraw from his friends and grow increasing stressed and nervous, and by May he confided in Myrtle enough to tell her that he knew he'd be killed if he didn't finish the job, and soon.
Finally, he fixed one of the two Vanishing Cabinets, letting the Death Eaters straight into the school. He was told by the Dark Lord to kill Dumbledore, but when he was face-to-dace with the headmaster, who was unarmed, he found that he couldn't do it. He fled, and his father was rescued from Azkaban. But the next summer would prove to be the worst months of his life, as he endured watching several murders and found that though he wanted out so desperately, that there was no way out of the Dark Lord’s ranks but death, which had become a very real thing lately.
As the dust falls after the battle at Hogwarts, the Ministry acknowledges that the Malfoy family rebelled against the Dark Lord, and they are not imprisoned with the rest of the Death Eaters. It wasn’t long after the battle that Draco moved away from Malfoy Manor to escape all the unspeakable memories that taunted him day and night. In his mind getting engaged to Scarlette Snape was a way for him to start his life with a fresh slate. Even though he knew the rest of the Wizarding World would never forget what the Malfoy's had done. And the faded scar of the Dark Mark on his forearm was proof.
THE ROLEPLAY SAMPLE;;
At least 3 paragraphs of a roleplay sample, please. Show me what you've got!
For the fifth time in his life, Draco headed to another school year aboard the Hogwarts Express. Arriving early, before any of his Slytherin year mates, he’d found an empty compartment. They’d come and find him, he knew they would. If they didn’t, he didn’t need them. Draco’s mouth twitched as he wondered at his own thoughts. His fifth year waiting for friends on the train, and he still wondered if they’d show, despite a solid three year record. First year, of course, didn’t count. The old man really had etched it into his brain. If his friends could read his thoughts, they’d be insulted, at the least. Draco knew he would be, in their shoes.
Draco shifted so he could see out the window. Only a few people were here yet, and he knew none of them. Only first years got here this early. He tensed, then tried to relax. He couldn’t.
The compartment door opened. Draco snapped his head around to see a tiny first year smiling ridiculously. “Get out of here, pest!” he scowled, and the grin disappeared as fast as the door clicked shut. Stupid first years. Draco felt slightly better, though. He put his feet up on the opposite seat and crossed his ankles just as he heard the compartment door open again.
”I thought I told you to—“ he managed to get out before he glanced irritably at the door. It was not the first year he saw, though. Taller, wearing Slytherin school robes, and a familiar face. Excellent. ”Oh! Hello,” he greeted, as he felt the tension finally slide off of his shoulders.
