Scarlette couldn't help but continuously look at the clock. She'd had a good day, and she couldn't wait to share it with Draco. After she'd met up and had lunch with him she stopped into Slug & Jiggers, like he'd suggested. Then afterwards she shopped for groceries and returned home, preparing the roast he'd requested. It was an interesting dish, not one she was accustomed to making, but it seemed to turn out alright. Scarlette glanced at the clock again, 5:50. Why couldn't time move faster? Draco said he hoped to be done by 6. She sighed and set the table for dinner, killing only five minutes. Suddenly an owl arrived with an envelope addressed to her. She tipped the owl and took the envelope. Opening it she found pages of a list of 'inventory' for Slug & Jiggers and a note from the owner saying it'd be best if she started to memorize this. Scarlette smiled and moved to the livingroom, sitting sideways on an oversize chair. Her worries of time left her mind for a moment as she started to read over the list.

They day had gone fairly well. Draco and several of his co-works were able to open the ancient vault without too many injuries. One bloke was blasted against the wall and suffered a concussion while the others merely got scrapes and bruises from the debris. All in all it was a job well done. They had conveniently finished around 5:30 giving Draco and a one of his co-workers a chance to grab a quick drink at the Leaky Cauldron, before heading home to his fiance.
He apparated onto Spinner's End street. The old factory remained lifeless in the passed couple of decades, and the homes that occupied the area were run down, and in desperate need of repair. He walked down the road, before coming to the home that belonged to Ari. It was the complete opposite of Malfoy Manor, but that was exactly what Draco wanted. A place to escape from the horrors that he experienced in his old home. And as every day passed by the home on Spinner's End was starting to feel more and more like home. It wasn't anywhere near as grand as the manor, but it was small and cozy. As it should be with all of the work that Ari had put into it.
He walked up the front steps and looked down at his watch. It was 5:58 PM meaning he was still slightly early. He pushed the front door open and seeing Ari sitting comfortably on the couch. "Hello," he said, shutting the door behind him, and hanging his clock on the coat rack.

Scarlette was on page two of inventory when she heard Draco enter. She folded up the papers and slid them back into the envelope, setting them on the table next to the oversize chair she was sitting in. Draco greeted her and she smiled. "Hello." She glanced up at the clock. "You're home early. How was work?" She asked, swinging her legs off the armrest, and sitting properly in the chair for a moment before standing. "Can I get you anything to drink?" She asked, ready to head to the kitchen. She wanted him to be comfortable and in a good mood. She wanted to share her good news with him, though she wasn't sure how he'd take it. It's not like she'd miss out on seeing him or anything, they'd both be working in the day, and coming home at night. That wasn't too bad. "Dinner should be ready fairly soon." She added. She felt weird just standing there, she needed something to do.

Draco slipped off his shoes, before relaxing on one end of the couch. It was nice to be inside. Out of the blistering winds and snow that were occupying the area. The fireplace cracked and popped as Draco molded into the couch. "Umm, Firewhiskey if you don't mind." He ran a hand through his gold locks. Draco didn't particularly like getting waited on by Ari. To him it was something that an house elf should do. But seeing as they didn't have one, he tried to put it from his mind. "Dinner smells great by the way." Her cooking was something that he had loved. His mother never made a meal in her life. They had always been well off to have servants, and never really had to do anything for themselves. But Ari's meals were always something to be savored. While they might not have had all the pleasure that Malfoy Manor had, Spinner's End felt much like what a home should.

Ari nodded and made a quick trip to the kitchen, returning with a firewhiskey for him a coffee for herself. She sat down on the other end of the couch, facing him, and crossing her legs. "So how was your day?" She asked, truly interested. She knew that soon enough dinner would be ready, but a timer would alert them for that. For now she was content to sit and admire her fiance and listen to him talk if he wanted to.

"It was fine. A bit better than most days. Obviously because I got to have lunch with you today. And the vault wasn't as bad as everyone expected. Minor damage was done but nothing that couldn't be fixed." He said as he took a few sips of the Firewhiskey, before sitting it on the end table. "Sometimes it can take weeks to get a tomb open in Egypt so the vault was like a walk in the park." As much as Draco liked to deny it, he did enjoy talking about himself. He could easily be classified as conceited. But he decided that he really had nothing further to say, and turned his attention back to Ari. "How about you? How did the trip to the shop go?"

Scarlette smiled when he mentioned lunch with her. That had really made her day good, and she was glad it had for him also. She loved listening to him talk. It was almost soothing to her, listening to his voice. Ari sat up a little straighter when he asked her about her day. She couldn't keep the smile off her face, so obviously giving it away. "Well...I went into Slug & Jiggers, and okay, the place may be fairly nasty, but they sell potions ingredients, and as potions are what I love to study...well anyway, I got the job." She said, cutting her story short.

Draco couldn't help but grin when he heard that. He was glad that she had gotten the job. It was about time she was doing something she loved. Even if it meant handling Bat livers and Ashwinder eggs all day. "Good for you. Now I wont feel bad that you're here most of the time." He moved from his spot on the couch to give her a quick hug and kiss before returning to his spot. "When do you start?" He asked, being genuinely curious.

Scarlette smiled, especially when he hugged and kissed her. Say it was silly, but she loved getting affection from him. "Training is tomorrow, and then dependant on how I take to that, I should be able to fully start the next day." She couldn't help it, a silly grin was on her face, she was so excited. "And I'll still be home in time to..." her words were cut short by a buzzing timer in the kitchen. "...to make dinner." She laughed softly. "Which is ready right now." Ari stood up and with a small smile to Draco, headed in to the kitchen to set the food on the table.

"I'm sure training will be a breeze with you. I'm glad I don't have a job like that though. You know how horrid I am when it comes to people." He said, as he took hold of his Firewhiskey. "You know you don't need to make dinner every night. Even though I appreciate it, I'm sure I could fend for myself if I needed too. I hear muggles have soup it comes in some sort of jar. If worse comes to worse I could always go that route." He said as he followed her into the kitchen and set his glass of Firewhiskey on the table and went to get a couple of plates, forks and knives for their meal and set them on the table.
