Scarlette smiled softly at his reply and when he kissed the side of her head. "I think that'd be nice." She said softly when he mentioned putting the picture on the mantle. "Explaining everything is going to be a pain. I'm scared to see how they'll take it." She admitted, quietly. "Thank you. For helping me figure all of this out. And for standing by me the whole time. I love you, Draco." Ari took one of his hands and gave it a light squeeze.

Draco smiled weakly. "I'm sure mother will be okay with it. Father, well he's an arse anyways. I wouldn't be bothered with what he thinks and feels." He said quietly as he rested his head atop of hers. "I believe it's my job as your future husband to stand by you regardless of what happens. I'm not going anywhere. I promise." It was a goodnight overall. Even with the information they found out, at least they now knew the truth. "I love you too Scarlette."

Scarlette smiled softly. A huge weight had been lifted off her chest, now that she'd told him, and now that she knew the truth. Her birth father was locked away in prison, but her real father was the most honorable man she'd ever known. He was dead now, as was her mother, but she knew she'd be okay. She had Draco, and as he'd just promised, he wasn't going anywhere. "I'm always going to be here, right by your side, Draco." She said softly. She was sure he knew it, but she had to say it anyway.

Draco nodded, before collecting the book, diary and pictures in his hands. "We should probably put these some where so they don't get ruined or lost..." He said as he shuffled through them again, still finding it hard to believe that his fiance was related to Scabior. But he was sure with time that he would forget about it. It wasn't that important anyways. Not to him at least.

Scarlette nodded in agreement. "They can probably go back in the desk for now. Should be fine there." She glanced at the potions book again. Sectumsempra...for enemies. "If that spell...the one that Potter used on you...if that was written in my mother's handwriting...I wonder if that means she made it? Or maybe Severus and her worked on it together and she put it in there? It's horrifying to think...if Sev hadn't gotten to you in time..." She shook her head. "That could've killed you." She frowned. She'd never understand everything about her past. Who her mother really was. Why that spell was in that book. But she did know that Draco was lucky to be alive, and she was even more grateful to Severus Snape for saving him.

Draco nodded before proceeding to place the contents of their finding back with in the drawer. "Yes, I'm sure Potter would of loved to put me to my death. Lucky Snape got there and preformed the counter curse. Wouldn't surprise me though if your mom and Snape came up with the spell. Slytherin's after all. We do like to shed blood so it seems." He said as he stood up and banished the chair that he was sitting on before making his way back onto the couch.

Scarlette followed him to the couch and sat down. She was tired. Too long of a day. She thought about Potter and his hatred towards Draco...it made her start to despise him even more than she had in the past. She loved Draco with all her heart, couldn't bear to lose him. Ari sighed and ran a hand through her long brown hair. First day of work tomorrow, she'd better get some good sleep tonight. Ari bit her lip, feeling like she should say something but she didn't really have anything else to say.

Draco let out a sigh running his hand despairingly over his face. It had been a long day, with one to many surprises. He felt his body relax as he stared blankly into the fire; knowing all to well that it would probably be an early night for him. He didn’t know what to say to Scarlette. He was still trying to comprehend everything he had learned that evening. It was a lot of information to take in, in one go. But he knew that he couldn’t and wouldn’t leave Ari because of it. He rested his hand on her knee. “I think I’m going to go up to bed.”
